The Remote Process
The process is almost identical to a regular inspection — except you're not physically there.
Browse Carsales, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, or a dealer website. Shortlist the vehicle and get the seller's address and VIN. Run a PPSR check on the VIN — this you can do from anywhere.
Contact one of our trusted providers. Tell them it's a remote inspection, give the seller's Sydney address, and agree on a time with the seller. The inspector travels to the car.
The mechanic inspects the full vehicle at the seller's location — 100+ points, OBD scan, test drive, and detailed photos of every issue found.
Receive a complete written report with photos same day. Some providers also offer video walkaround. Use it to decide: buy, negotiate, or walk away — all from wherever you are.
If you're happy with the report, pay the seller and arrange a vehicle transport company to deliver the car to your state. Interstate car transport typically costs $500–$1,500 depending on distance.
